USMC ECHO 2/7 DOCS

Welcome all those dedicated Heroes, "just doing their job"!

MARINE'S UP !!

To my Friends … Brothers,

and those that may stop and visit our Site.

Over the past year or so I have had several people ask why I don’t write about my experiences as a Corpsman, especially the time I was with the Marines of 2nd Battalion 7th Marines in Vietnam.

Honestly, over the past 30 years, I have considered putting the past in writing, but I never had the time or computer to work with.

Now my wife and friends tell me I have no excuse and  they feel that I have a story to tell … one that can only be told by a Corpsman and his Marines.

The stories to be told are of those young warriors that came from all over the world and met in a land of both beauty and death.

The men of 2/7 were heroes, each and every one of them. Their stories need to be told. How do I know? Simple….I lived, laughed, and shared thoughts with them.  Then 36 years later I went to a reunion and listened to the voices and viewed faded photos from the past.

I am not just talking of my Brothers from Vietnam…..I am talking to ALL OF THE MEN OF ECHO 2/7 regardless of rank, MOS, or time period.

I am asking that you share your story, or that of another Marine or Corpsman. These need to be told, shared, and given to history.

Please help this Doc…send your writings, notes, pictures, and memories to me.

Don’t let yourself believe that your story is not important or that you can’t write it.

All stories and information will only be used by me with your written permission.

Please forward your story, photos, etc., via e-mail.
